Strawberry Shortcake Trifle Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 angel food cake, cubed
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam

Instructions
Step 1: Prepare Strawberries
In a bowl, mix the sliced strawberries with granulated sugar. Let them sit for about 15 minutes to release their juices.
Precaution: Stir occasionally to ensure even coating of sugar.
Step 2: Whip the Cream
In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

Step 3: Assemble the Trifle
